Breaking up?

Okay, so I have this boyfriend. We’ve been going out on and off for about a year. I’ve been seriously thinking about ending the relationship. I have been in denial that he is a pathological liar, and just an ******* in general. All of my friends have said “look, i’m going to be honest with you, you need to dump him.” and it’s really getting to me. The thing that really set me off is that one of my friends overheard him saying how he “realllllly wants to take so and so to prom”, as in a different girl. He tells me he loves me all the time but then he goes and says things like that to other people and it’s really confusing. The problem is that I love him. I see the bad in him, but I also see the good. I know you can’t change people but this is really hard for me to do because I really do love him even though I shouldn’t. What do you guys think? I mean, I know I have to make my own decisions but my friends say that I’m in denial that he treats me like ****.

It’s obvious that he’s not sincere with you. Get out of the relationship. I know it’s hard but you’ll get over him in time. I’m sure you’ll find someone who deserves your love.
Well from what it seems is that he isn’t being honest with you…You should just get out of the relationship…I know it will be hard and what not but things like this get better with time trust me….You deserve to be with someone who treats you the way you deserve to be treated not like crap! Even though you love him its something that has to be done…Remember sometimes the hardest part is letting go…
