I got divorced about a year and 4 months ago, and I find myself dating alot of different men and sometimes women, or having one night stands. I one hand I like the freedom of doing what I want, on the other I miss the intamacy that comes with being with someone all the time. Im 36 years old and I was married to an abusive man for 12 years. I also have two kids.

  1. Take your time… don’t get involved with anyone because of the kids. It takes time. Rebound relationships rarely work.

  2. it depends on how bad was the divorce for u , are u over the whole thing, but please dont go have one night stands with people that u dont know to get over ur divorce. u can date nice respectful people and take care of ur kids u might meet some one who will spend the rest of his life with u.

u can get married or date anytime now ther eis no specific time when u have to start doing that. its up to u but it has to be for real love not just because u fianlly have ur freedom

  3. I say continue dating if you want and just take it slow. When the right person comes along, you’ll know it. No questions asked, it just feels right. If it’s meant to be, the relationship will become serious on its own.
